Though not a “badass” in the traditional sense, Stewart did wonder playing villanious against type in Green Room last year.

Ha ha, I’m an American, you can’t force me to read things.

I felt bad for Dom getting manipulated by Darlene, but it was a great scene built off two seasons worth of character building. One of Dom’s defining traits (alongside every other cast member on the show) is her loneliness - remember the scene last season where she talked to Alexa, also called back to briefly tonight?

Alex just accidentally revealed the show’s next twist. Whoops!

I still think we’re getting a twist of some sort re: Angela. She’s probably going to be more in the right then the show is letting on. And with the show conveniently scooping her up this week, what better time to reveal the full details on her motivation then the finale? With the first episode of the season

Now playing

Even with the cinematography being a little bit subdued, I think the editing this year has more than made up for it. Episode 7 was a thing of beauty in that department.

It’s weird they waited to dispense with Stage 2 part way through this season. Narratively it would have made a lot more sense to have it serve as the climax of Season 2. There was a lot of needless fluttering about in the back half of Season 2, which now feels like the show purposely holding back before its next big

I didn’t read the books, and felt that Stannis was a boring character who didn’t become become interesting UNTIL he burned his beloved daughter. That’s what made his story tragic, and actually added some interesting thematic fodder to chew on about the thirst for power, ambition, and what not.

I feel like Stannis is more of a Mike Pence analogue than a Trump one. It’s undeniable that both men have a core set of values that they hold on to in life. It’s just that, in both cases, their values are FUCKING INSANE.

Don’t worry, Davos is here to carry on the legacy.

I almost expected it to cutaway to another “After Sketch” report where they broke down what went wrong with the sketch, like they did last season. That’s how poor it was.

A few weeks ago I criticized you, Dennis, for commenting on how Larry David’s monologue fell flat from the beginning, and how the audience wasn’t responding. I disagreed with your read on that, and argued that when we don’t like a bit, sometimes we subconsciously are convinced the audience is responding in kind.

Dan became John Goodman’s character in 10 Cloverfield Lane, then?

Nope, he came back like a decade ago. And he’s been IN this season (he participated in the plan to blackmail that guy in the Chris Columbus episode), he just hasn’t been a central character in a while.

I was mostly being glib. I’m a millennial and obviously watch the show. So do many of my other peers. But I’ve seen plenrt evidence there’s milennials who hate it too. Primarily because milennials are still, you know, people, and have individual likes and dislikes. Putting things into generational baskets is pretty

First they came for the Orangutans, and I said nothing...

Tay Zonday has followed me three times on Twitter. I don’t know why he keeps following me, then unfollowing me, then following me again. I have never followed him back.

You think Stan has it bad? Kenny hasn’t been a major part of an episode since, what, the gentrification story a few years back? Even Butters hasn’t really been given a lot to do this season. It’s been a lot of Heidi, Cartman, and Randy in Season 21.

“...it all becomes too much for one episode to handle.”

Terrance and Philip have always been an analogue for South Park itself which, yes, a ton of millenials don’t like or, more accurately, actively despise.
