It’s like if people who sold stuff on eBay formed a union and demanded better pay.

Remember, just because somebody spends 12 hours a day doing something doesnt mean they deserve to get paid a full-time salary for it.

tell these idiots to get a job, this was made for a side gig or to help you look for a job while you collected unemployment. not to feed a family of 6

As a software engineer, I still have to manually enter the correct number of parenthesis and semicolons. If I make a variable called “timeNow” and then later refer to it as “timenow”, computer freaks out.

As a San Antonio resident who loathes I35 in Austin and who occasionally makes trips to the DFW area, I love SH-130, but I still think there needs to be a better free bypass than fucking 281 going through little towns like Johnson City. Y’all should have taken a page from SA and built at least one loop, or even

Just say “20% better”, which both seems more reasonable and would probably get a more realistic response.

That’s how I interpreted it as well. I’m sure there’s a way to rephrase it, maybe something like “if we can find a way to make project X go twice as fast, would you be willing to help me? How would you go about to make it happen?”

Pay the Dude in cash at his Bank and get the Lien released right there. If it does not work, walk out the door. NP

Of course US tipping culture sucks, but it’s what’s in place right now, and not participating in it isn’t an interesting intellectual exercise or protest, it just makes you look like a prick.

So they want to funnel all the semis and interstate traffic that travels through Denver onto city streets?

You want to tear down I-70, literally the main artery that connects the West to the Midwest, to make room for housing and parks?

Highways facilitate trade and trade is good

“People who call themselves transgender women are male,”

But transwomen aren’t female. Just like Rachel Dolezal isn’t black.

For Air Canada domestic flights between Toronto and Montreal, and no luggage, you can’t get your boarding card if you show up 59 minutes before flight time.

For your friend who flies a lot, this is likely worth it. If you fly every other week, that’s 52 flights (round trip) per year. If you get to the airport 2 hours before your flight, you’re killing up to 90 minutes per flight. That’s 76 hours potentially wasted - productive hours. Hours that you should be in meetings,

I have a friend who probably misses 1 out of 3 of her flights and just thinking about it stresses me out so much. I can’t comprehend living my life like that, just hoping that my airline will let me hop on another flight without extra fees.

This is good to know about Easyjet! And also totally agree— normally I’m a diehard about getting to the airport 2 hours early. This trip was an exception and clearly I’m still very stressed out about it retroactively!
