I got the same treatment at a Nissan dealer for a Pathfinder and they had dozens of them. We ended up leaving and finding a 2 yr old QX60 that was waaay better and like the same price with 19K miles on it. 

CR-V to Wrangler is a manageable change from most aspects, including finances and maintenance, especially if the CR-V is newer. Wrangler maintenance is more often, and even more so if it’s off-roaded, but it’s not out of the question for someone who can afford a new CR-V.

This. I would rather someone with clean shoes and clean socks take their shoes off than have someone barefoot in flip flops on a flight. Usually the flip flop crowd are people who seldom travel, and they’ve got the ensemble of PJs or Sweatpants on too. 

A buddy of mine used to have an X type wagon (2007 I think) and then had a Acura TSX Wagon from 2012 until 2017 or so. Both cars he said people used to always ask him about it if they saw him in parking lots or even at red lights.

Yup, my rear sway bar in the Legacy is from an Outback because it is thicker and eliminated the “windy highway shimmy” that the Legacy used to do.
