It’s actually pronounced “this insufferable white person wants everyone to know that they’re One of the Good Ones.”

Yeah, let’s shit on people for not knowing how to pronounce a completely illogically spelled word that just started gaining traction six months ago.

Never fired a gun? Your spouse must feel very safe. Will you scream and beg when someone breaks in and threatens the lives of those you love? Remember, when seconds count, the cops are only minutes away. Typical beta male thinking.

This is really it.
Change your life for a better one.
It’s a massive mental step, but once you get that escape velocity, maintaining is not difficult at all.
I buy whole grains now. I spiralise a zucchini for noodles.
The changes we need to make are incremental, but transformative.

Those 3.6Rs are nice.... Jealous!

Now playing

On a fun side note, with a bit of work you can make your legacy sound like this:

You’re correct. Only the non-turbo EJ25 had the stereotypical head gasket issue. EJ22 was fine, and all the turbo EJ20/EJ25 are fine. The 6 cylinder is practically bulletproof.

Only the non-turbo EJ25 engines had the head gasket problems everyone talks about. The 6 cylinders are nearly bulletproof. The turbo EJ20/EJ25 engines only had issues if they had a random part failure, or were treated/maintained poorly (no offense to your brother, but it’s just a non-issue on the WRX unless you, or

You talking about the videos that old dude has on YouTube? Honestly, with as much extra effort as he had to put in, unless you absolutely have to do the swap right now, and can’t find any way to get access to an engine hoist, I can’t see any benefit to doing it with the engine in. I did the clutch on my last Impreza

My (very) limited understanding of the 3.6 is that it does not have the head gasket issue that the 2.5s have. But it’s not something I’m particularly knowledgeable about. But yeah, I’ve seen anywhere from $2,500 to $3,500 for head gasket related work. It’s... not pleasant.

I still want this van so badly! The 6-year-old kid in me wants to dress up like BA Baracas while I drive it. The (Almost) 40-year-old in me recognizes that it would be an objectively terrible driving experience, and a middle-aged white guy trying to look like Mr. T would probably be seen as racist. Getting old sucks.

This one is fairly well known in the STi community, but not many people know about it outside of it.

Subaru says 37 degrees is the temperature at which some roadways may start freezing.

No.

No, I don’t.

the upside was you could swap out tech back then without being an issue. I was debating updating my lancer’s boring AF cd player but even that thing has so much tech in it a swap is a nightmare.

Jeebus, don’t any of these guys know that isn’t how you’re supposed to behave in a workplace? You’re supposed to read Deadspin at your desk while quietly wondering what your life would have been like if you hadn’t gone to a party school.

The next great Portuguese defendant.

I’m getting a lot of Aaron Hernandez vibes from this story. Glad he’s facing consequences now instead of five years and a couple of murders down the line.

Please don’t ever stop posting.
