Correct. Overbuying is a problem. Also you’re spot on about the safety jump last 10 years. My wife refused to let our daughter drive a shitbox so we found a deal on a 2014 i3 with low miles and that’s her car now. her high school lets her park in the teachers lot where there are EV chargers. We’re looking at the Spark…
Coupe, Sedan, or Wagon? I’m jealous. the Wagon is on my shortlist for my next car. Probably buying around February of next year unless the current ride craps out earlier
I drive an AWD Sedan that is 5 years old and it gets worse mileage than your average FWD Crossover. Barely, but still worse. I get the appeal. They’re SUVs for folks who traditionally couldn’t afford a Tahoe or Suburban.
I only buy new cars for my wife lol. Me and my kid have used but it’s within 5 yrs old. There are tons of readers here who buy new.
Can confirm! A friend of ours is a cabinet installer for a local company. He has a $30k kitchen and his out of pocket was like $2500 or so. Did all the work himself
I refurbish and flip golf bags that I find at goodwill. Really easy because you can clean them with a garden hose and some laundry detergent. I mend wear holes either by sewing or patching. Turned a $5 Ping Hoofer Team USA stand bag into $94 on ebay after fees and shipping.
Most regional CEOS of Good will Affiliates are paid about 0.2 - 0.5% of the revenue of the affiliate.
In Austin, the goodwills tend to reflect the neighborhood they’re in, so we have the hoity luxury ones, which are great for dress shoes, etc, and then ones where you will see a million tee shirts in. It’s great because depending on what youre after you can take a mini tour of goodwills and see a mix of everything.
It appears to be hat hair caused by a golf hat. Also a better possibility of that because he was wearing golf shoes during the Virginia beach event.
You must not travel a lot.
It’s really just the drivers who are forcing themselves. It’s one of the few unskilled labor jobs that requires the worker to be sitting for the entirety of their work.
This is going to be Spirit one day, and people would gladly do it to save $1 on their flights.
That’s the thing, this is something that would totally go down the way you described on the vast majority of Southwest Flights.
When I bought my 22K car several years ago, I was getting 2.29% financing on my loan and had up to 6K to put down without depleting emergency fund, etc.
I did six months back in 2015 and the money for being less than 10 hrs a week was quite good. Just got sick of the wear and tear, finding random trash tucked under my seats, etc. My side gig is a real job, 5 hrs a week, $20/hr working IT and social media for a golf course. free food, free golf and very little…
I had a 2010 GT and now a 2014 3.6R, Sedan though (USA). I think it’s a handsome car anyway, but in wagon form and lowered like that, wow.
Loved that generation in the Impreza, and the Legacy was equally as handsome. It’s like the refined older brother of the Impreza/ Impreza WRX/ Impreza WRX STI:
Last Gen Libertys and Legacys were where the money was at:
it’s one of the few unskilled jobs that you can sit down the whole time you’re working, so I see the appeal.
