You know that’s not a lot in a city with some urban sprawl, right? The wife keeps it around 500 a month.

It might work in Chicago, but it won’t work well here in Austin. If you just take the per mile rate that’s like 400 miles in a month? I drive 1000-1500 (depending on kids activities and time of year) so I’ll be spending out the wazoo afterwards vs. driving a paid off car.
