Muk comes in many forms, my friend.
I’m shocked that The Tower isn’t full of Muk.
Gotta crash ‘em all!
Paul Ryan is the Speaker of the House of Representatives, third in line of succession. Four years ago, he was on a doomed ticket. Prior to that, you had John Edwards—who was a fraud and already done in the senate. Then, you had Lieberman who was theoretically damaged as Gore’s VP, but was actually a much more…
This is a good point. Especially if the Senate flips to the Democrats in this upcoming election, Hillary will want to push some major legislation through during her honeymoon period. Having a missing Senator for even a little bit might impede that goal.
Al Franken’s Senate seat was contested for months after the 2008 election, and it was this missing seat that caused the Democrats to scale back the scope of the Affordable Care Act. Having any Republican in the Senate for any length of time harms this country, having a grandstanding Scott Brown buttressing his future…
Al Franken would be a fantastic pick.
I think a two-woman ticket would alienate a lot of American voters, unfortunately, and Clinton’s team knows that. It sucks but it’s true - look at the rampant sexism lobbied Clinton’s way already.
Al Franken is a great choice, I think.
I don’t think so. This seems like one of those times where the Democratic VP choice has nothing to lose (except possibly a Senate seat). If Hillary wins, they’re vice president. If she loses, that would be the result of a massive failure on the part of the Clinton campaign and I think Hillary herself would bear almost…
Hillary is already smart and vicious. A VP does not need to be funny. See also: Joe Biden. (He’s not intentionally funny)
Because that’s what most VP picks say. “Am happy being senator/congresswoman of *insert state*."
I adore Warren, but we need a mean. Smart, hilarious and vicious motherfucker as Hillary’s VP. Booker is a fucking criminal fraud, so I suggest Al Franken. Seriously. The man talks circles around Republican idiots.
Everyone, everywhere always says they’re not interested in the position of VPOTUS. Until they take it.
Honestly, I feel like she could be put to much better use elsewhere.
It’s unlikely she’d be picked. The republican governor would pick her replacement and we need every seat to get the Senate back.
Warren has said over and over that she DOES NOT WANT the position of VPOTUS. Emphatically and categorically said that she doesn’t want it. Why can’t we listen? Look, I love her too but there is no need for the media to continue to paint this as some kind of suspense thriller. She’s not interested in the job.
I’ve lost two jobs solely based on the reporting of my case.
