I used to think a no-brainer was a decision you would make if you had no brain. Turns out I was right.

@TR3-A: Agreed. Software is never shipped that is completely perfect on the first try, no matter how much testing. In this case, however, one programmers mistake could potentially kill thousands or more, instead of a drivers mistake killing three or four.

I thought you meant you were going to see which display was the most bullet resistant.

A smartwatch? I'd buy that.

@Dougiefresh91: Your boss is awesome. He's probably saving a huge amount of money, though OpenOffice.org is probably not the best choice, unless you're on Ubuntu. I personally can't stand either suite, and for spreadsheets just use HTML. On the Mac, look at Bean, and excellent word processor with basic MS Word

@brianary: libre: LEE-bray OF-is. Pretty simple.

@brianary: I've been wondering about that. But it is far harder to learn HTML or another markup than it is to mess around with control settings in word. Ideally, though, we would all use HTML, because HTML is essentially an RTFD (or DOC, whatever you want) you can edit with a text editor.

@blinovitch: Try Bean. Best word processor I ever used, free and open source, and partially DOC compatible.

I'm not sure if the fact that the card survived or the Jigsaw wannabe scarier.

TXTs come to mind.

@s4zando: Yeah, check out his photostream: [www.flickr.com] He designs little Lego figures for his photography. They're amazing.

@jzpeterson: Cleaning your bathtub is cheaper than buying posterboard, though.

@harryhoody: Edit: replied to wrong person.

You don't actually need posterboard. One great tip I picked up from this Lego photographer was that you can actually use your bathtub. It works incredibly well.

Make (206) 866-5924 say "Remy Zero".

@obtusegoose: I laughed so fucking hard at that.

@Samuel James Reha: But they need all of the lines to mesh, right? Like they won't have one line "breaking" another.
