and I have no idea what that pink port is.

I’m actually not a fan of the pizza myself, but it’s definitely a unique institution that you’ve got to try at least once and the restaurant itself is really cool. The Mediterranean Bread is the best thing there.

I agree with ‘boroWark, I love this style of pizza but tavern style is not a unique thing to Chicago. So I don’t understand that push to brand this as Chicago style pizza.

I go through the drive thru in my pajamas

Yeah. This is a good example of why I’m skeptical about historical fiction in general. Mr. Boyle’s research in this case didn’t go further than “do a quick Google search and copy paste the first result”. This doesn’t give me a lot of faith that Boyle’s research is as thorough as it could be on other topics either.

“Bigfoot and The Rangers” is the 80s cartoon I never knew I wanted until now.

still pissed about the drop of the Double Decker last time

I feel your pain, they took my Double Decker tacos last year.

it is a chocolate croissant.

This story was so fucking well written and well reported. Really one of the best pieces of journalism I’ve read in a while and perhaps one of the best illustrations of what the pandemics is doing to the day to day lives of Americans — and the wide gulf between the impact on quality of life.

This fucking sucks. I went to high school with Grant, and he was one of those people who literally never said or did a single thing that wasn’t kind or thoughtful. When he made it big, doing the weirdly brilliant stuff he loved, I was happy, because it meant the world was working the way it was supposed to: greatly
