I live in KC near where HB started. It started good, but the food is definitely taken a nose dive since they rapidly expanded. It’s such simple food, grilled meats, grilled veggies and a few more items and some Dole Whip. Lots of burnt meat, unseasoned veggies and overall less and less care as it’s been expanded.

I’ve never heard of either of those Hawaiian restaurants but here in Vegas we have L&L and Aloha Kitchen, both are fine little places for some loco-moco, katsu, and spam musubi. Love me some Hawaiian, the more restaurants out there serving it up the better!

Hey there, HISD teacher here whose school hasn’t implemented the new system (yet, that I know of). Fun thing about Texas, if we pretty much even mention striking we lose our job, teaching certificate, and forfeit our non-Social Security state pension. We have unions, but they don’t carry much weight, unfortunately.
