Salmon sure as heck isn’t “fishy” to me, and it generally seems like the one of the “safe” fish that people who don’t generally like seafood will eat.  This “overpowering fishiness” thing is a pretty surprising complaint to me.

I don’t think it’s all that fishy compared to other fish I’ve tried, but IMHO, Salmon is just very bad tasting, and it’s usually on the “fishy side”. 

I think salmon is not very “fishy,” but it has an extremely unique strong flavor nonetheless. You can sub lots of flaky white fish for each other, but there aren’t many substitutes for salmon. Steelhead trout, maybe.

Tangentially related but why didn’t anyone at Nabisco think to name the S’mores flavor “S’moreos”?

I mean, I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other about how Rose was used in ROS, but that’s largely because of how poorly the character was written in TLJ.

Avocado definitely takes it but I would give an honorable mention to cauliflower. It was everywhere from rice to pizza crusts to cauliflower steaks and on and on.
