What, exactly, would happen to you or I if we hit someone & didn't stay at the scene? It's not a matter of rendering aid IMO, it's a matter of not leaving the scene of an accident & failing to have it documented by other officers as any one of us would be required to do.

Could run into the issue of waiting too long to realize he should’ve negotiated a better contract & continuing to sign contracts that don’t include this.

In all seriousness, this sounds more like moderately sophisticated crime rings, not your run of the mill idiots looking for a getaway car after they hold up a 7/11 or selling Hondas for chump change. More than likely these guys know how to drive stick.

I thought it looks like a Kia.

How are they gonna fix YouTube's settings?

That sort of thing has happened to me in every state/region I've lived in. I honestly don't get what they're trying to accomplish.

I was gonna say, in my experience with Mercedes drivers, I can totally see one not noticing a tree in the road.

Oh, you wanted them to SURVIVE the trip?? Is the PR department busy?

It’s not just Jalopnik. It’s a decent sized story, especially given Toyota’s response to the outrage over it. I’ll guarantee you if any of these politicians supported bringing back Jim Crow laws, they wouldn’t donate to them.

What do those members of Congress provide to Toyota that it’s worth them dealing with this PR headache? As you point out, they're slinging money all over the place, so what exactly do they stand to lose by saying a politician who doesn't support democracy in America isn't getting cash?

“Hi, we’re calling about your expired submarine bilge pump. Do you have a moment?” is a scam call I’d take.

I worked at a Toyota dealership that had a cleaning method with used cars they either bought at auction or took in as trade & planned on reselling them. I was in HS at the time & didn't care enough to pay attention or ask questions about the process, but I can't imagine they were the only business dealing in cars that

A Nissan Versa is a golf cart with doors.

You don't shoot people if you're not intending on killing them.

Yeah, but those are cops, of course they weren't convicted. This guy is toast.

God would be PISSED.

Was so eager to write that ticket, he wanted her to put his life at risk by having her pull over where he'd be at risk of another driver hitting him.

Not surprised by either. The 3 is far more popular (at least in my neck of the woods) and I rarely see the 6 on the road. Feels like if you’re buying a sedan these days, you’re going with the smaller, cheaper, and better mileage. If you need the passenger in the space, seems like most people are just going with

Ah, yes, Torch should stop ragging on Tesla but Tesla stans are good to encourage reckless behavior which could quite easily result in the death of the driver or others. Plenty of level headed Tesla owners share the problems they’ve had with AP being anything but perfectly safe, so who should we believe?

Legal & civil are two different things. If his parents are financially enabling his dangerous behaviors, they could find themselves looking for a lawyer.
