It is but its 30 miles between border crossings plus a gorge. The gravel road doesn’t go the whole way along border. Heard about “sensors”. But how can they tell a deer, bear or elk from a person?Met a person who simply walked across about 8 yrs ago.

The border is just a Half mile off a county gravel road in rural ND. You see the Canadian farms in the distance and thats about it. The half mile is either a field, a cow pasture or kinda waste land. I’m kinda surprised border patrol noticed would like to know how they figured it out.

I would think this too. Also, it can be hard for the locals to know your age based on your appearance (you may appear younger.... Unless you are grey haired, then older).
