I always pictured Tim Meadows as Fat Charlie, and Mos Def as Spider. Oh, and the late Cab Calloway as Mr. Nancy.

I'm cautiously optimistic, as they're adapting my favorite book, but it's Starz, for crying out loud. Hopefully they do it justice, and maybe use Anansi Boys as a thread for plots in later seasons.
