What? I loved it, they were all good but this one I enjoyed the most after the Daredevil one which is just perfect. The sound is great, it reminded me of Daft Punk's Tron soundtrack which is never a bad thing

Of course, and I can agree that the pilot wasn't all that exiting even if for me it was a B- at worst. But all reviewers already trashed the show based on the 1st 6 episodes, and honestly they are totally in the same ballpark as the 1st 6 Luke Cage episodes, and those were the best ones of that show!
I guess there is…
Was wondering the same. I think long comments sometimes don't go through, so maybe try by dividing the comment into several posts? I saw your long reply in my feed, just try again, or if you lost the comment I can give it to you, it was quite long and interesting so it would be a shame to not post it
Hey, I agree, all the social elements and the Harlem setting are interesting and different, more so than rich white guy learns martial arts, but it's the execution that fucking counts, not the premise.
Reviewers shouldn't give shows good or bad reviews just because their premises are in line with their political/social…
Completely agreed, but you misunderstood me, I was talking about Jones the actor that plays Iron Fist, not Jessica Jones, lol
Don't worry, as I said below, Ward only gets better and better
I mean, I don't want to side with the tin-foil hat wearing right-wing nutjobs that outcry because of a liberal agenda and all that… but when 2 shows are completely in the same ballpark quality-wise, wether it's in the acting, the writing or the general production values and have like a 90% difference in approval on…
How come he can pay for these kind of travels with taxpayers money? Shouldn't that be completely illegal? What the hell, yet another thing that the US has in common with underdeveloped countries. For comparisons sake, I know an important official (Ambassador) for Austria, and for short work-related flights (not for…
For now they left it vague, so I'm not sure if the are going there… Danny did mention Shou-Lao the Undying. Honestly though, as much as I would have liked to see Iron Fist tangle with him, I can understand if producers are hesitant to acknowledge the existence of motherfucking dragons in the MCU, it might be a tad too…
Haha, sounds about right. Man, I really have to check out Banshee
Blablabla, echo chamber of how Trump and his administration are the scum of the eart, which we all know, through completely meaningless and idiotic article n°6978.
If you're going political at least make it interesting or worthwhile, there are so many things that are worth reporting, it's honestly borderline immoral…
If you are talking about the corporate father/son duo when you talk about the villains, if it's any consolation they get way better, Ward is actually the most interesting (and best acted) character as of now for me
Completely agreed about Ward, at 1st he does seem like a cliched "bad" businessman, but he quickly proves that he is a much more complex character, and it only gets better.
The actor is also doing some outstanding work, he clearly is the best acted character of the show
Ok, here's another praise for the show:
Ward Meachum is a damn good and complex character up to now, I am enjoying the hell out of watching him and his performance is great, certainly the best in the show.

Having concluded my binge after the 1st 6 episodes, here are some thoughts:
Of course, and I'm not saying they should just translate the comics to the screen because that would be boring, I am all for taking creative differences storytelling wise and all that. But at some point, for the most famous heroes, there is a certain iconic side just to the character's appearance that I feel makes not…
Sure, I guess you're right on that part, but it's not like the MCU is just another one of the thousand elseworld and parallel universe stories in the comics, it's the only live-action version we got, so for the most popular characters with the biggest fanbases I think it's better to try to stick to their appearance in…
I guess that could actually work just as well in theory. However, Daredevil is a little bit too well known of a character, fans might be thrown of if he looks too different. Then again, in the comics he's more of a redhead so…
Oh come on, I don't like his hairstyle much either, but who cares? Isn't it better anyways to not always have perfectly symmetric hot models in our shows, isn't it a little more interesting to sometimes have more "ugly" people, or in this case "ugly" haircuts?
