I just randomly saw a few episodes of the show on television, and I laughed my ass of!
I have no idea what's the deal with hating the show, I saw the original series when I was a kid/pre-teen and loved it and still found TTG highly entertaining.
I love the absurdity and silliness of it all, and the basic animation is

Great show, can't wait to see what happens next

No idea, it's the 1st Millar Wolvie book I read, Old Man Logan is next, I want to check it out before seeing the movie. I'm kinda disappointed that you didn't like it, but I like nihilism and it's supposed to be a modern classic so I still have high hopes for it :)

Wolverine - Enemy of the State
Good little blockbuster read, it's typical Millar fare, with an unhinged Wolverine and lot's of bloody action. The art was a little bland sometimes but overall it was good and worked nicely. The characterization of side characters like Elektra, Fury or the Fantastic Four was also great.

Completely agree, I am totally on board on seeing the monsters from peoples POV, that was great, but following this bland action hero guy was dumb plotwise and a boring movie trope that belongs more to a Roland Emmerich or Michael Bay flick

Agreed, but to some extent this is just relative to the level of enjoyment you get from his respective movies… Many people also think that the 4 hour long LOTR cuts are overindulgent and boring, but personally I could have watched even longer cuts.

Also, the weird monster creatures actually look cool and creepy, I just hope they don't overindulge in it and make it a CGI creature clusterfuck

I got most things right, the cinematography was quite striking and beautiful in parts, and the Godzilla build up until the epic battle was expertly done. However, I don't get why we had to follow "bland Action Hero n.351" and his shenanigans, which didn't make much sense and were so stale and uninteresting.. They

Sure, I also think making it shorter would have benefited the film. But to say it's a "cinematic sedative"? Come on, what a bunch of fucking hipsters, lol

I still really like the Jackons King Kong period, it's a good movie

Hey, that's Peter Jackson for you… Still, it was a great movie, and despite it's length it never really dragged on that much, except maybe in the end in the city, but even there it was mostly good old giant monkey rampage that's just fun

This has been looking quite good, I am actually excited for it!

Ugh, who gives a shit… Damn Oscars, turning every news outlet into People or EW

Rewatching Archer for the hundredth time, and I still don't get why Archer Vice was badly received by a large part of the fanbase. These nerdy fans are just allergic to change!!!
Seriously, the beginning of the season might be a little irreverent and shaky, but all the episodes from Smugglers Blues (Ep7) up to this

Hey, since nobody cares at least nobody will be traumatized when Ezra goes Dark Side and the crew ends up murdering him, lol

Yeah, I know that it was mentioned for once, which only contributed to this being such a tightly scripted episode.
But overall across all SW properties you always see people infiltrating strategic Imperial ships or bases without any problem, and I just find it funny because even in our world in the 80s there would

Ehh, I mean, there was a constant theme of him being totally cool and arrogant with the force and his power, and he doesn't have any issues to use it to kill some poor folks, plus he is a dickish teenager, so I'd say there till is an underlying theme of Ezra deviating from the right path

Even basic cameras, lol, those seem to be an extremely rare commodity in the whole SW universe

Another great episode, I hope they can keep up the momentum, they really needed to up their game.
I feel like his has to be the most tightly scripted episode of Rebels yet, the whole cat and mouse game was logical, tension filled and with almost no unrealistic "cartoony" or "tvshow" elements.
It was one of those rare

Yep, I loved Aaron's Thor - God of Thunder run so I decided to check out other stories of the character, and I started with Simonsons' run since it was the most acclaimed of them all… and it's fantastic!
