Man, I loved this episode up until the reveal, what the hell? I hope Laurel's not Prometheus or something, and I also hope she doesn't really come back.. Her death was dumb plotwise like most of season 4, but it was handled well emotionally and was a nice sendoff to a character that never really clicked in the first

I truly can't imagine Vikings without Ragnar, and honestly I hope that I don't have to, I know that the showrunners always wanted to tell the stories of the sons of Ragnar after, but they can still do that without killing him..

That's true, I also miss King Ecbert, he was interesting and magnetic, but all the court intrigues and typical kingdom stuff surounding him is less interesting

Yeah, some character drama and development was pretty mediocre, but overall I liked the episode, I think I am just still glad that we are only seeing Vikings, which makes for the more interesting setpieces and characters

What did Ragnar say to Ivar when he got on the boat? I replayed it several times but couldn't make it out

Yeah, she was freed, that's why I said at some point, but what would have happened if Cold didn't free her? They would have left a proven harmless meta-human who's only crime was robbing some banks with her new power to secretely rot in their inhumane cells with no jurisdiction whatsover? Kinda fucked up

Man, Agents of SHIELD is really a great comicbook show! Not once did I
get sick of it, whereas I tuned out on the CW shows from time to time.. I
think it's because it has a good fast pace and they are always
introducing new concepts, characters, plotpoints without being stuck in
repetitive and forced conflict and

Also didn't they keep a pretty harmless chick that only robbed banks at some point? To some extent you can understand them keeping killer wackos that the regular law is probably unfit to handle, but that's just some Judge Dredd levels of judging right there

Rewatching this knowing that Loki and Siggy were with Ragnar the whole time you notice some small touches that reflect upon that. Also Floki not wanting Ragnar at the wedding just seems to be an excuse to publicly show that there is a rift between them so that Horik approaches him

sure, fuck em, but that doesn't make it less true.. And the AV Club is overall a respectable website with detailed and interesting articles, I hate that they now stoop to Buzzfeed content level way too often

Thank you, I feel like I am the only one annoyed by all this nonsense!
I despise Trump too, but don't AV Club, Vanity, Buzzfeed and the like get that all these dumb "outrages" are one of the reasons why Trump is President Elect in the first place?
We need way less shit like this on the internet and more content like

What the hell man, where did I complain about their political leaning? I am just sick of seeing these "non-news" relating politics, race or gender that are pretty obviously just there for the clicks. So yes, I clicked on the article to complain about it, maybe the A.V. Club will see it, who knows..
Sure, I guess the

I know, but I expect better from the AV Club, and lately we just get so much "political" articles that are just dumb clickbait

Yes, it is quite depressing, but the main problem to me is that I feel like AV Club is lowering their standards with completely dumb "articles" just because Trump is somewhat involved or something like that..
You can't tell me that this "article" telling us that Kid Rock makes Trump shirts or something is doing

of course it does, I am all for doing an interesting article about gender issues when you talk about the (amazing) abortion episode of Bojack Horseman or something like that..
but why the fuck should I care if Kid Rock makes Trump shirts? That's just dumb clickbait

lol, stop assuming anything about my political views, I am an european leftist so I am pretty much as far away from the american republican ideals as you can be.
And I know he is a musician and part of pop culture, but A.V. Club chose to do this article and thousand of articles like that just for typical clickbait,

Goddammit A.V.Club, can you please stop bringing politics, race and gender issues into EVERY SINGLE article, you are a pop culture site for fuck's sake! Or are you that desperate for the sweet clicks and comments?

Sure, why not, it wasn't great but it still deserves a second try I guess, now can Netflix please make shorter and more focused seasons?
The second half of the seasons decreasing in quality with stagnating, disjointed or repetitive storylines is the one mayor recurring issue with their otherwise good to great shows,

Finally they are back to the main story, I am looking forward to Kallus' progression, altough he does look to be a goner
