I think people overblow the ID.4 infotainment issues. I have an ID.4, and as long as I’m using Apple Carplay or Android Auto, it’s not terrible. It’s not great, but it won’t make you want to commit ritual seppeku. It does take a minute to start up.

I don’t know if this is accurate, but there is a chance the conservative state government officials doesn’t want the explosive growth this plant will bring to happen inside the possibly more liberal jurisdiction of the Mason local government. Think of it as a form of gerrymandering. 

People that drive trucks and SUV’s seem to have the predisposition that pedestrians need to look out for them and not the other way around.  Had a friend killed by a truck making a left turn as she was crossing in a crosswalk with right of way, but dude just turns left without a care.
