Saw the Nas and Lauryn Hill tour a few years back. I went for Lauryn Hill and left blown away by Nas. Lauryn Hill was really late getting on stage, but luckily they had a great DJ (DJ Green Lantern). That having been said, standing in a small, Providence crowded club for what felt like 2+ hours was not something I

I wish I could afford one of their dresses...heck anything from their website.

Ditto, I am soooo on the fence. If I do get it, it won’t be till I am in my third trimester. (I’m in my second now) My doctor won’t give me advice because ethically she can’t, as there is no data and no studies. All I can do is assess my risks and “do what I think is best”.

You’re right. I can’t speak personally, but there is certainly no denying the hardship trans people experience. It breaks the heart. I think I react the way I do, because I am truly shook up by the rift in the feminist world right now.  Bah, I dunno. Can I blame it on my pregnancy hormones?

I apologize. As you are the person that called them out, you are obviously a caring and thoughtful person. You are correct it was disingenuous. I obviously get upset when (I’m assuming it was a man) sling hateful murderous thoughts at women. I don’t want anyone to have violence hurled against them, trans, cis,

They are still don’t deserve violent threats against their life. If you don’t agree, then I don’t know what moral ground you have to stand on.

A (greyed) commenter here saying that all Terfs (i.e. women who have beliefs that differ from theirs) should all die, is exactly why the women in this article fight for sex based rights. Violent misogyny is real, even on a website like Jezebel. Friendly reminder that even if you disagree with these women, doesn’t mean

Ha! You think NOFX is “punk”, but not Patti Smith?!?!????? Then again, you know what they say, opinions are like assholes...everyone has one!

Fingers crossed!

As someone who doesn’t love short short / showing off my thighs, I appreciate a longer cut short. Granted these aren’t really shorts, and rather peddle pushers, but still I would wear these if they weren’t leather. Just let women be. JMJ

The racism and misogyny are obviously intertwined here. I hope a thoughtful conversation can come from this about these types of establishments where a high number of women meet the criteria for trafficking. Often times these businesses exist to profit off of the exploitation of Asian women.

Vote blue no matter who”....oh unless you are a Democratic and you don’t like anyone with a “progressive” agenda. I will give them some credit, at least they lay it all bare and are completely transparent.

Amen! I like the way I wear my hair, feel most comfortable in my semi-high waisted bells (though I haven’t put on a pair of jeans the entire pandemic), and will wear my Dansko clogs forever. One of the best things that comes with age is a deeper understanding of yourself, and an increased IDGAF “I am who I am”

John Prine!

Wow, I really love this! Thanks for sharing. Country music is some of my favorite to play on guitar, this song sounds like a fun ditty to learn.

Yeah, lots not go ahead and call an entire genre of music racist. Geeze Louise. I mean Dolly Parton, Valerie June, Rhiannon Giddens, Allison Krauss, all queens, two of which are WOC, all country music making, all wonderful.

Though my husband and I didn’t necessarily plan it, we are excited...and little bubs will become a big brother! I will have definitely research the ASPIRE study. Thanks for the suggestion! At this point, I’m considering a home birth. I don’t love the thought of being in a hospital.

Just found out I was pregnant this weekend. Yikessssss its going to be an intense 9 month.

What? I’m not sure why you think observing sex at birth is a challenge. Are you arguing there are no sex differences? Or that sex changes after puberty? I’ve never heard of that. Happy to learn more if that is true.

Women defined as an adult female whose sex was observed at birth. Not sure why the sex of the doctor observing the sex would matter. In case of shelters, I don’t know, but if we are putting these things into law we NEED to have conversations. Women fought for hard to have these safe spaces for women in our society.
