I’m having a really disproportionate, emotionally charged and nostalgia-laden reaction to this change, but this is exactly the kind of change I was worried about when they split the game into multiple parts.

As soon as I saw it was Ubisoft making this, I was out.

BK and McDs costs an arm and a leg now, takes forfuckingever sometimes (negating the fast food bit) and it’s no longer keeping apace with our nostalgia. Mickey D fries aren’t that great tbh. Wendy’s tho...

Inasmuch as 1) video games as a medium HAD BEEN trending towards becoming an art form and 2) AI is (as of yet) unable to create art (it can create works with artistic merit but not art itself), no, screw that noise. This is going in the wrong direction.

I really wanna pick this up because in this house, we stan Amy Hennig, but I’m kind of broke rn and can’t justify spending $70 unless the experience was gonna be transformative or at the very least goty contender.

fairly simple. In the year 2023, many people on the internet live by one mantra: “There’s gotta be a way to fuck it...” Hence, ‘show feet’.

It’s probably gonna get DLC but that’s on top of a FULL game with plenty of replayability and a fairly lengthy playthrough.

...I’m confused. The surprise in earnest would have been if they had stuck to their 2022 release date.

110 hours in, I’ve yet to use a rune arc. I might need it later. I have about 50 of them. I need them later maybe perhaps probably.

Is it just called Roulette if they play their own?

Dude Raider is the one I recall.  I like to think of it as Indiana Jones without a doctorate or Nazis.

Two people that are insano rich for *checks notes* not that much have beef.

Make or break clarification needed, ESPECIALLY for Vice City: Same soundtrack? Kind of required.

Two points missed in this review, regarding WoW being on a downturn in the court of public opinion:

Cool so, no AC: Sengoku Jidai yet?

...so the large hordes in the base game on normal kind of require you to have the chicago chopper and become much easier once you get the MG55...but you need to eliminate what, like half the hordes to unlock that...

Reading the comments, it seems a lot of people agree that there’s no real need for a PS5 right now* (except to play upscaled PS4 games)

Most of what I read where people made actual arguments is that the Mass Effect series spent three games worth of narratives carrying the effects from your decisions and making it feel like what you did had a real bearing in what was happening, and railroaded you into really narrow sets of circumstances that

I’m probably in the minority, but I am STILL not used to DLC. For example, season passes rub me the wrong way as a concept, for one. Whenever I’m playing a game and it has an obvious missing chunk, it really knocks me out of the experience - I can’t remember which of the Ezio Assassin’s Creed games had this where the
