Boomer Corvette owner here. FFS, we don’t all have shitty taste in wheels. The general rule is if your car is old enough to have chrome bumpers and trim, chrome wheels are acceptable. Otherwise, they look ridiculous.

Buick is using that angle now. It’s also essentially the point of the Chevy “real people” campaign. The message is “you don’t need to make excuses for this car - it’s surprisingly good!” Since they’re already doing that with other Chevys, they just needs to get “real people” to “confuse” the C8 with a few exotics.

I kinda envy you that engine. My 1990 E250 camper conversion has the 302cid V-8, which somehow only makes about 130 horsepower in that application. That’s not a lot to move 7,000 pounds.
