But shouldn’t you engage it “before” the turn?
Stars were the highlight of my otherwise mundane and featureless day. Thank you.
Maybe people are driving strategically and keeping fools off-balance, not giving away their destination?
It had a foot-operated dimmer switch, but there was another switch, or so I recall, that allowed you to select whether you would need to manually dim the high-beams or if they would auto-dim when they sensed oncoming headlights. It really worked pretty well, much better than the factory CB thing that seemed to only…
Will edit from cooler to “lit”.
Hmm. I thought it was Velveeta Grande. I stand corrected.
Just came here to say that this makes Sweden way cooler!
When I purchased my barn-find 1978 Mark V, I was stunned to find out it had the auto high-beam feature. That thing had so much kit that I didn’t think was available back then. Auto-off e-brake, auto-high beams, anti-skid brakes, an MPG computer! A CB radio built into the AM-FM 8 Track player (made by Motorola and…
If I was better at meme-ing I’d have used the “change my mind” meme-guy and put that on his banner, but like, how much effort am I going to put in to make a bad joke on here? Stars make me feel good but damn.

Jaguar Sportbrake? More like SportBREAK! AMIRITE??!!!
I wonder how the cancel-cam works in those things?? Or is it a Push-on/ Push-off operation?
“But back in the ’80s Chrysler was somewhat desperate.”
Well, all that with an easy-to-tune Windsor that is mucho-supported through the aftermarket should make for a pretty easy life. At least compared to some poor schmuck running an old FE or something.
How come the push-button signal indicator selectors never became popular?
Or cleaned his car........
Formula 1 cars were much safer when they were simpler: Change my mind.
I agree, 85K miles isn’t a lot for a car of this age, but it is a lot of miles for a car this French!
