Lack of viral marketing. While the Camaro was on hiatus, Mustangs were selling in droves. Then these Mustangs went on the used market and created a fertile environment for crowd-pleasing, cars-and-coffee mayhem videos that almost exclusively featured Mustangs. Bad PR is better than no PR at all!
