It’s rated for it, but I don’t know if I’d tow a 2 car trailer with anything less than a super duty, unless it was a very short, very flat trip.

They usually have a lot of pretty decent malaise-era stuff, late-70s T-Birds and Cougars and junk like that. Malaise-era cars are my favorite junk and this story makes me fear that some of those unloved old hulks will no longer be around for me to ogle.

Yep. Our ‘04 4-Runner had aluminum stem caps from the factory. Had to replace the entire pressure sensor on 2 wheels because they corroded to the stems and yanked the threads off when I finally did get them off with pliers.
It’s not expensive, just completely unnecessary and environmentally irresponsible.
