I feel awful playing on hand-crafted maps. The idea that every tree was put there with intent makes me feel like crap for digging or cutting wood or anything.

See the positive side. The mods will not appear from day to night. Maybe you can't play the PC version at launch, but when you can, you'll have options if you want to experience what the mod community will do to the game.

"pleasantly surprised" doesn't cut it. I was staunchly guarded right up until they showed the storm trooper who wasn't a clone, and I thought, "oh, I am still eight and ridiculously pumped up for MORE STAR WARS!!!!
Replace the ricochet sounds with bass guitar strums or piano key taps and you have yourself a winner.
That would be 1 hell of a mod, better textures in cars-wepons and other things. 1000 of hours gone into making animations and no money to fund it.

This seems like such a noticeable glitch and it's so common that I can only come to two conclusions: 1) they knew about the glitch but either didn't care to patch it before launch or were so crunched by their deadline they couldn't work in a fix, or 2) they knew about the glitch but figured the funny media generated…
