Just saw the episode. They actually left quite a lot in. The whole video is still better though.

That is loose...

The J.J. movies are great, the new design of the Enterprise and the universe in general works for me, but the bridge just leaves me cold. It doesn't detract because the movie's pace is fast enough to make all these details annoying to watch, but if it was a TV series this bridge wouldn't work at all. It doesn't feel

Makes sense now that I read it.

More info on the The Walking Dead companion piece, please. The Telltale game showed that the universe is rich enough for new stories, but I can imagine it would be something different in scope. Something not about a group of lone survivors, but maybe soldiers or politicians. Another look at the universe.

This seems...unnecessary.

For some reason this looks like a dream where Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing is an Indian.

That was great! I can see them not putting it in the episode, but it's a great deleted scene.

You actually got that backwards. TNG had ended the year before. Star Trek: DS9 was in its third season, the one were things got much better, and Voyager had just started.

Watched that so much as a kid. It was both off-putting and attractive in its weirdness.

I would't call Firefly underrated, at least not in the way I think Charlie's asking. A fair share of critics liked the show and it's garnered a massive fan base for a show that only aired for one season and out-of-order. I think we're looking for a genre show that no-one gave the light of day, but was truly brilliant.

Harrison is more than just a criminal. He seems (could be clever editing of the trailers) to be behind a large terrorist attack on London, killing the leaders of Starfleet and maybe more. Sounds like a terrorist to me. Soldiers captured Saddam Hussein, soldiers went after Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan and (special)

That 1895 one is beautiful. Looks straight out of BioShock: Infinite.

Is it a bad movie that becomes fun enough when large enough amounts of alcohol are consumed or is it simply bad?

I never really got into VC. Played SA first, followed by III and then VC. By the time I played VC, I had dozens of hours of SA under my belt and smaller usability issues like the awkward camera control caused me to not fall in love with it as I did with SA. The only thing that stuck with me from VC was that it had a

How do they do free movement? In space you'd use your backpack, but I imagine those jets wouldn't work as well underwater. Do the divers move you as if you were using the Manned Maneuvering Unit?

Changing review scores need to become a thing. Alpha games like Minecraft, Kerbal pace Program or more conventional games like SimCity or changing games like MMOs need this for an accurate rating. Imagine getting L4D based on reviews now. Left 4 Dead 2 incorporated all its maps, although not as a 100% conversion,

I think he meant it from a gaming standpoint. If you're only using it for e-mail and internet, this discussion and even this entire site are very much your thing.

Maybe Asia, but from Europe I know more Trekkies than from North Americans. Especially Germany goes nuts for Trek.

It's not a very diverse list. Virtually nothing pre-00s. I imagine episodes with the same rating, but less votes get bumped down. So the more recent, the more people are likely to vote for it after they see it, etc. causing such a modern list. Perhaps it's better to call it the best episodes of the new millennium.
