Yes, I said it. While the premise might be ludicrous, so are the pulp sci-fi novels of the 50s. The the purpose of those novels is not to make people laugh. That's what I meant with serious.

That was pretty awesome. For an indie flick the green-screen work is not at all bad (it's slightly off from what you'd expect in a blockbuster, but for a low budget it's pretty impressive). The CGI is even better. Can't wait for the rest of the film.

Well the Hanar planet is definately located in the Jellyfish Nebula.

Whatever it takes to get humanity back into the exploration of space.

This video felt so personal, so unedited compared to the normal spaceflight videos. We belong up there, even if it takes centuries for humanity to understand that. We already have the next frontier, we're just afraid to fully cross it.

King Kong was a great film. While I didn't see the 1933 film, I imagine most movie-goers haven't seen it either. LotR was better, but KK definately held it's own.

It's all relative. Never having played GoW or related 3PSes, I still find the storytelling is the bigger, more impressive part of the series.

But Ice-T, the fun is in the story, not the generic action?!

@manus_nigra: They certainly kept us talking.

Synergy forces the species to change, even if they don't want it. If you got all the war assets you already united the galaxy, of their own free will. Defeating the Reapers on their own, without the Crucible would be the best ending but since that's not possible, Destroy is the best. The stupid God Child doesn't need

I never had even a hitch. There's something nice about decent looking games with good framerates as opposed to hyperrealistic chugfests.

I've encountered a few graphical glitches but nothing game-breaking (maybe I was just lucky?) To me a patched ME1 still has more big bugs (elevators not working, etc.) Then again they had a lot of stuff that wasn't exactly bugged, just badly designed (vehicles physics for example).

It's just a way to make clear that the fans think that BioWare dropped the ball on the ending (with more of a woomphf than a new forum thread). No need to protect author's rights here, K.

This is just BioWare covering themselves. If they admit they made a mistake, they'll be put in a corner by the fans, who now see no reason not to have a corrective DLC. If they keep pretending like it was all true then at least that won't happen.

How is there no suspense? The survivors will try their hardest not to die anyway (except Lori), perhaps even more now that they know that even a quiet death means zombie. Being bit still means that they'll turn into a zombie.

That ending would've been amazing and much more fitting. The ending needs actual choice.

Amazing.

The boss fights weren't a major problem. Looked up the quickest way to take them out and continued with the game. DX:HR is definately one of my favorite games of 2012 (although nothing compares to ME3, which I've been playing almost non-stop for the past two days.)

A new Vice City, interesting. Hope it's set in modern times though. 80s Vice City is nice, but a present-day Miami-like would be interesting to see.
