I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly made me so underwhelmed and annoyed by this movie and I think I finally figured it out. Certainly the biggest sin is that it was largely boring, but being boring isn’t what keeps me from getting over this movie. Sure I didn’t like getting repeatedly smacked in the face by

I think it could be Steppenwolf. Those cubes are probably Father Boxes, the Apokolips version of Mother Boxes, and if you made him some sort of monster instead of a human looking guy in armor he’d probably look like that. Also he is the guy who leads Darkseid’s army to Earth, so if it was going to be any of Darkseid’s

The Lex Luthor of the comics is technically Lex Luthor Jr. now and his dad started the company. His father being Lionel Luthor was from the old days (and Smallville). Sorry to say, but this Lex is going to be THE Lex for this universe. Although I would love for the movies to bring in his dad and have him be the “real”

Yes, if you’d like.

I’m going to just repost what I said yesterday over on Gawker’s article. I’ve highlighted the part that any anti-vaxxer reading this should pay close attention to.

I can only hope they’re busy working on some type of transformer companion, or a way to incorporate the crafting system in to the power armor system so we can go full Iron Man.

Most of those vehicles had mini nuclear reactors in them that people either can’t or won’t fix. (And yes, that is a terrible idea, and there were people in the FO world who said so, that’s just how the whole FO world was.) If I remember correctly the gas stations of FO were actually to pump coolant and drain waste

Yeah that’s the problem with the majority of bigots and hate groups; any attempt to stand up to them reinforces their persecution complex. (Just look at Trump rallies) White Christians have had a pretty solid grip on most of the planet for about a thousand years, but if you ask them, they still act like they’re hiding

Oh no....that is exactly what boob armor does. You don’t even need to hit it very hard and you’ll end up with a cracked sternum. There isn’t much of an excuse for the design anymore because there are a lot of people who keep bringing that up. Hell I’ve seen 4 or 5 decently big video games the past few years that bring

I do love this depiction of Kingpin, but I’d imagine a perfect Lex being less unhinged, at least at the start of everything. Obviously a few years of Superman screwing with him would push him to more desperation. Starting him off as being crazy enough to make this Doomsday-whatever-the-hell-it-is doesn’t seem like

Yeah Japanese isn’t something that has a direct translation. It’s more than just vocabulary and sentence structure that makes it so different from English. I’ve heard such uproar across the internet about the translation that I expected some 4Kids level crap, but honestly I felt it was a decent localization. I read

You know that hero shot of the DC trinity will never stop bugging me because of Batman holding that gun. I know realistically it will probably be something like a kryptonite bullet gun, or a high powered grapnel or even an electric stun gun. I also know Batman’s “no gun” rule is both relatively new and not uniform

Yeah everything in 90's pop culture was either needlessly dark or “xtreme;” comics of that era are just the perfect example of it. Just look at Adam Xtreme. He perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with the comic scene of the 90's. I still can’t believe this character is real, because you couldn’t make a better

I wonder if it draws any inspiration from the original legend of Amleth.

The nice thing is that a lot of stuff in the technical part of Hollywood doesn’t get affected by a movie sucking. The technology was made, looks great, and will get used a lot regardless of the quality of the movie its in.

One of my favorite things about that is that McFarlane and the FG writers actually started referring to their own most random cutaways as “manatee jokes.” The term has also apparently caught on in other comedy writing circles.

I still re-read this series and always stop at book 5. It tells a complete story with the characters and themes you like and you can honestly feel like you aren’t missing anything.

I still feel like not calling the “New 3DS” the “Super 3DS” was a huge mistake. Not only would it have saved a lot of retail confusion, it would fit with all of these Super Famicom and SNES themes. Hell I would have even liked “3DS Advanced.”

While I’m still worried about how the overall tone of the movie will be and if it relies too heavily on nostalgic winks to the audience, I’m interested enough to give it a watch. Just from this trailer, I’m actually kind of torn on the movie, though. For every thing I see that looks good, there’s something that looks

I know everyone is caught up in the whole white vs asian Iron Fist, but what about the character Danny Rand? I’m a lot more concerned about the portrayal of the person, and not the superhero. If this show is going to be like the other Netflix shows, then the actor they cast needs to be Danny more than the mystical
