So two pickup trucks? He has a Silverado.
Unless that’s 25 years old, or I missed the part about him moving out of the 🇺🇸,…no go.
Heart click because beautiful Boss 429
Is it wrong if I like the VP more than the POTUS on your list? Haha
Lol, the 2.2L is definitely NOT a speed demon.
Honest. Hard working and dependable. No frills, not into luxurious things. Doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. Blue collar hero. Focused on getting the job done.
Can confirm from back when I daily drove a Miata. Same idea I guess. If I wasn’t in a hurry, I’d usually cruise in the right lane at the speed limit. Haha, fun in the sense of being an honest compact truck that doesn’t try to pass off as something else. I liked how unapologetically basic it was. I enjoy a lot of different types of vehicles.
One of the shops I worked at had an S10, 2.2/5MT, short cab, short/regular bed. I was surprised at how fun it was to buzz around town in running errands. Even with ~160k of hard abuse on the clock, drove about as well as it ever did.

As a minivan owner, being able to open the far windows from the driver seat is a legitimate and definite improvement over manually doing them. No doubt. Not taking keys out of my pocket? Eh whoopty do. That’s not any significant thing to write home about IMHO.
I don’t get why auto manufacturers had to unnecessarily complicate a vital component required for operating the vehicle.
Or just used a good ol ‘Merican truck ?
That already sounds like a pretty cool swap, I can’t lie. Haha.
Find a picture of a full sized 1986 Toyota pickup.
My old ‘94 Ranger 4.0 4x4 on 31x10.50s got maybe 16-18 (iirc) on a good day, lol.
The Prado TX (strange name?) is awesomeness. Would drive. 3 rows. Manual. Turbo diesel. Yes!
