I’d gladly drive a “rotten car" like one of these ,…personally

“Look at that dude driving,…”

I’d drive pop up lights or a facelift one one over the new one ,…

I’ll probable try them next time. At the time I didn’t have an O’Reilly locally and the Napa was more tractor parts than car parts and usually full of guys who would finish shooting the shit with each other for 10 minutes before helping you. I’ve since moved.

Ugh, bastard. I'd be so mad at that adjuster.

Whoa, Midlothian? I had to reread that, I’m so used to stories from Midwest or California or whatever. It’s neat to see at least one other Jalop from/in Chesterfield County. (Well I grew up there, I’m not there anymore).

When I wasn’t working in a shop or parts store myself, I just relied on using theirs. The only issue I’ve had is sometimes they are really insistent on not letting the customer clear it or clearing it for you. I accident banged the electrode of a spark plug putting it in the hardest cylinder of my Chrysler minivan,

For internet fame & bragging rights?

NP.

Hate thieves. I’ve owned 2 Integras, 2 CRXs and a Civic hatch. My DC Integra was broken into outside of my house. Left my buddie’s civic hatch with a CTR swap alone. They didn’t make it past the breaking the window and trying to free it- Cop said someone/something spooked them bc you could clearly see they were trying

Great point. Soon as I read this I was thinking, yeah definitely possible.

Both good choices. Fastest car I’ve ever owned was for reference- “only” in the mid 12s in the quarter mile and that really changed my perspective. Can’t hoon the thing in 1 gear without risking jail time. So unless somehow it’s ‘track day bro’ only, I'll gladly go slow in something else 😎

For what its worth:

Their headquarters is in California. The one in my town is across the street from a Starbucks & Johnny johns, a mall, and in between an Office Depot(i think? ) and Taco Bell. So not all are in the ghetto,…

I always figured if something like a BMW tried to pull me I’d call 911, indicate what I’m in and where and ask if they’ve had a real officer call in trying to pull me. If no, send a real one because some crazy is after me, lol.

Haven’t heard that one before, either. Makes me think of ‘peacekeeper’ 😬

Why do people feel they need to tell how how to live your life, anyway?

-Can confirm as current Forester & minivan owner. 1 kid, road trip? Just fine. 2? Really pushing it. And my wife is just over 5' tall and she wasn’t very comfortable with the rear facing seat behind her (at 6' I physically couldn’t sit in the passenger seat). After I had more than 2, forget the Forester for family

Minivans are awesome*

Haha. I wasn’t trying to nitpick, just stating I don’t understand that mentality.
