Man, I love this one, split window ftwđđź.
Many years ago, I got a project CRX for free. The guy that gave it to me gave the tow truck driver a crap heap old grand marquis shell in exchange for the tow. So yeah, asking doesnât hurt. I was chatting with a coworker and he said he had a couple junkers laying around and sick of looking at them. I didnât think muchâŚ
Itâs not. Hell, the last Honda B-series I owned had the fuel cut off tuned at over 9k. 7k for a Honda? Thatâs low. (Pictured: DC Integra gauges)
(Knock on wood) My last several car sales have been pretty pain free because Iâve learned ways to curb the jerks from selling & buying cars over the years. I do what I can to keep the focus on meeting, selling. Not going back and forth with the same questions or same comments.
My wife has sworn for years if Subaru made a proper style minivan with Subaru AWD it would be the absolute perfect vehicle and sheâd be first in line to get one.
In my experience a minivan is still the best and easiest way to haul kids around. Also easiest way to haul people around in. Much easier to climb in & out of the rear seats. An SUV, CUV, etc. Mine is comfortable, easy to see out of, doesnât have an obnoxious & unnecessarily high ride height for no good reason, isâŚ
My father has had a 2005 Tundra 4x4 for ~8-9 years. I agree itâs just about perfect size and âjust rightâ for a gas pickup. Weâve loaded the entire bed, and towed a decent sized utility trailer loaded to the brim with furniture and stuff and it conquered mountains like they were nothing. The 4.7 does well for being aâŚ
Edited: never mind. Sorry.
Whatâs the deal with Toyota red anyway? Iâve not heard of it in non-Toyota applications and I saw MCM using it in their Mini supercharger build.
Have to know them well. Iâm brand picky. My friends are too and we donât always agree ,âŚ
The Honda/Acuras Iâve worked on on seem to be the same way.
From an R&D perspective, wouldnât it make sense to invest in technology that can be applied across more markets? Downsizing can be applied across more markets such as those that tax based on engine size and those that donât. More flexibility for the new technology. Saves $. No?
+1. We had a 2014 Kia Forte rental for ~month & a half after our Subaru took out a deer. We didnât care about letting it warm up or stuff like that which I am normally attentive to in my own car. . I didnât jump curbs or off-road or anything stupid. I did learn its limits on back roads and let the tires sing me theâŚ
70 mile range? I spotted one the other day here in southern Virginia with Florida tags.
Anything I couldnât resell or scrap if I didnât want/need it.

Neutral: Im not 100% sure on why the surge. Where I live I see them all over. Heck, I regularly see Crosstek drivers ed cars.
Jiffy Lube allows personally owned franchises. Sometimes companies will start as a franchisee âcorporationâ and run several states and have district managers and whatnot. Some stores might be a couple business partners own one. Some are actually Jiffy Lube owned. So itâs up to whoever owns the location as to how itâsâŚ
