I’ve not seen Wonder, so I can’t comment on how good it is but I do know it is white af. The message is important but perhaps they could have picked a movie that was more relevant for the kids?

The “the font is people!” one is particularly dreadful, but they all suck.

That’s it exactly. She has a white belly and throat, and mixed on her legs and face, but from the top she looks solid black. Her zany facial marks are my favourite, because she always looks a little wired!

Your kitty therapy stories are a highlight of my week. It’s wonderful what you are doing for these furballs.

We have a clothes line and use it most of the year. It’s great.

Good for you for going to a therapist! It’s probably going to be weird at first because you’re starting a new relationship. Take your time, get comfortable, and keep in mind that it's all about you so let your impulses guide you.

This is my Tesla, who prefers to look at the world upside down.

Don’t give them back. He doesn’t deserve it, the jerk.

I think I’d end up like this, too. I love my job (at a non-profit arts organization) and find it personally, if not financially, rewarding. I’m sure I’d go back, but first I’d set up a big endowment so we could have 50% more staff (sounds cool, but that’s two extra people) so there’s less burnout going around.

That is a very Good Place title.

I actually lost the thread of his ethics summary because of that right bicep. And I’m not generally about the biceps.

I, a Canadian, agree entirely with your assessment of marijuana, yet I am glad this day is here.

It’s very much back, and full of awesomeness. Harron sometimes goes for out of left field tabs (like teen mags) and it’s hilarious.

Sometimes naps are important too. Strong feelings are exhausting and it’s important to take care of yourself. Being tired makes every situation worse, in my experience.

We were already going to die. Mostly of cancer, because we can fix great swaths of the other maladies.

My Something Good feels small but I am reminded by your post that when you add up two or five or ten small things the Good actually makes a difference for those days when it’s safest in bed under the covers.

That’s wonderful news. Congratulations!

It’s difficult to resist a good caulk joke! I almost wrote ‘hard’ but that’s an innuendo too far, I fear.

Ihad terrible withdrawal coming off quetiapine last spring so I could start trintillex. Ended up missing work for a lot of the symptoms you are having. One big thing I did was massively dose up on B12. It helps with the energy drain and it is generally good for your mental health.

Could you bypass the awkwardness by proposing a group social outing for your film club? One where you can talk with her in a non-school, non-club context?
