We were a Kool-Aid household, but my Mom was bougie about. Grape+Lemon, Fruit punch+Orange, Strawberry+Lemon.... This was our old kool-aid pitcher when I was around five.

Kool-Aid is the greatest shit on Earth next to Tang (and only if you know how to make that shit right). Anyone who says otherwise ain’t never had grape drink with a free school lunch and felt like the world was their’s, so fuck those people.

If I could knock President Obama for anything it was that I think he was a combination of arrogant and naive enough to think he could work with the GOP.

Also, just to be clear, I still very much admire and respect Dr. West. He’s done so much — and he’s still doing a lot. But I really believe that, although many of his criticisms of Obama were valid, the way Obama didn’t really make space for him hurt him deeply, and that seems to be affecting his public work now.

I pretty much lost interest in pro football this year. I no longer set my Sundays (or Monday nights or Thursday nights) by it. It’s too much - oversaturation of games, the laughable system of fines/punishments which seem to be made up on the fly, and the hypocrisy of the owners/commissioner talking about player safety…
