I actually wanted to like this episode even though I’m not a Gosling fan. In partincular, the hospital skit showed a level of originality I haven’t seen in years (also creepy AF).

I hold on to the vision that Trump will be dead by 2024.

Falling Down was hilarious to me. It’s such a specific piece of life that rang really authentic to me. Stop seeing me fall down!

Interesting, I’ll have to think about that more. But it would make sense that she’s basically afraid to act of her own volition anymore, having made so many disastrously poor decisions.

Marion definitely watches Nancy Grace, who was at the peak of her powers circa 2010 or so

You really think Carol’s going to be the big bad? I agree that she’s going to play some sort of key role given her star power/reputation, but I’m a bit skeptical her role is going to be final boss level.

When they broke for a commercial and started another one of those somber pandemic TV ads, I turned my head and paid attention to my damned phone, then saw in the corner of my eye at the last frame it was the Pornhub fake ad. Successfully trolled.

The second he made that tape of him introducing himself with his happy family in the season opener was the big “Uh-oh” moment for me.

Great episode, but man the foreshadowing.  I kept waiting for Frankie to announce he was retiring to sail around the world in his yacht, the Live 4 Ever.
