AGREED.  I’m a straight-up amateur, but I act in local theater and if I broke that much during a performance, I’d never get cast by anyone. And I would deserve it. It’s not cute.  It’s unprofessional.  Get the yuks out during rehearsal, then get into character.

Nothing to add to your comment...but I love your screen name.  I’ve played Abby Brewster twice in amateur productions of ARSENIC, and I just had to say something.

B? The April 15 SNL was dreadful. The only part I appreciated was Molly Kearney advocating for transgender youth. Everything else was a sh*t show.

#3: Ha! First thing I thought of with Hamilton Berger.  And Della called him “Ham” in this episode, though it was a reference, not a direct address.

I’m pretty sure we saw Hazel very briefly in the first episode of the season.  It was after Della met Anita but before their affair began.

Same

I’m a big fan of Jordan. But even he couldn’t save last night’s dreary episode. Best sketch was “pretapped” - Jake from State Farm. Beyond that, it was all lousy.

Molly Kearney is the first nonbinary cast member of SNL.  Therefore, the correct pronoun is not SHE, but THEY.  Goddamn, people, show some respect.

My husband noted that the biggest difference in Kim wasn’t her appearance, but her lack of confidence.  As smart as she is, as good an attorney as she was - hell, even as good a criminal as she was - all of that is gone, along with the cojones that drove the Kim Wexler we’ve known.  All that’s left is the name.

Same!

For six years, Cheryl’s likely believed that the breakdown of their marriage contributed to what she thought was Howard’s suicide. Along with grief, perhaps she’s carried a lot of guilt over “driving him to suicide.”

Even once a week is kind of a lot of free Cinnabon. Remember, most of his excursions to visit Frank included a goodbye to his employees. Should the cops come a’calling, they’re likely to remember that Gene started taking Cinnabons with him once a week - a habit he hadn’t had before.

There’d be plenty of exposure in 2010, especially for older women whose technological skills may not go farther than watching cable TV and reading books. I don’t quite remember what year Walter White died, so this may be invalid. But in the aftermath of his story, I daresay TV probably went nuts with televised docs,

Plus, there’s only so much erasing J/S/G can do on his own.  While perhaps the vacuum cleaner repairman is a living character, the actor who played him has left us.  And I don’t want to see anyone else in the role.

I loved this sketch, not just because of the funny parts and the song choice. Dave Foley brought everything to it. There’s such undercurrents of sadness, fear and despair. Foley’s eyes spoke volumes.

Yep. Here in Philly, traffic cones are a joke. Using your lawn furniture to "save" a parking space is treated more respectfully.

I live in Philadelphia. Moving a traffic cone to create a parking space is just another day, here.

Gotta agree.  Leave ‘em wanting more, rather than have ‘em begging for you to stop.

The timing was off and the pace was flat, leaving unforgivable silences around what should have been a showcase for two inveterate showoffs.”

I do hope the weekly recaps continue.  I enjoy this show very much.
