People in their 40s are not going out and partying like people in their 20s. They’re going out and spending all that newly freed up disposable income on fun activities, trips, and dining out (and yes a few drinks here and there). Better to do it in your 40s while your body mostly still works than in your 50s or 60s.

Olympic Stadium is still a massive white elephant though. Adjusted for inflation its still one of the most expensive stadiums ever built, and parts of it were never even finished. I saw some cranes out that way a few weeks ago, is the roof broken again?
