I just want to know when the intervention for St. Vincent is being held, after that lazy Atlantic article she posted.

I mean, I don’t want this to happen, but if it absolutely must, make it as sadistic as possible. Have him be torn in half in Saw-esque trap. Riddled with bullets like Jerry when he insisted on saving Shrimply Pibbles. Decapitated. Arms ripped off and beaten with. Hell, do a crossover with Hannibal and have him die in…
Preordered, thank you.
I don’t care if this makes me a bad person, but I’d be a lot happier if at least half of MLB HoFers either just up and died, or stroked out their ability to communicate coherently anymore, so I didn’t have to hear their shitty, backwards opinions of how much better things were when they played. Just go away. You have…
“Person wins lawsuit settlement from corporation only to get an even bigger settlement via retrial, but it’s T.J. Simers” is basically the polar opposite feeling of “Non-white woman loses her job as NBA Countdown host to white woman, but it’s Sage Steele.”
If the LA Times won’t, are there any other parties out there willing and able to go after Scientology? The LA Times are absolutely abdicating responsibility here, but if some other organization holds the Times’ feet to the fire at the same time, maybe that can shame them to get off their collective ass while also…
The week in NASCAR:
I saw the headline and had no familiarity with the wrestler in question, so it was a giant relief to learn that the source of the controversy around this guy and his character has nothing to do with being a giant racist or misogynist/accused assaulter or homophobe. That was a nice change of pace.
After Boston, Pittsburgh’s the city and sports fan base I most want to see miserable and gone. I want Boston to fall into the Atlantic and wiped off the face of the earth, and Pittsburgh to get sucked down a giant sinkhole, taking its miserable populace and rapist QB with it.
This is a fireable offense, but it’s the NCAA, so this dork will probably get an extension next week.
Daytime’s a bit different than nighttime, but damn it I just want Busy Tonight back. If Drew gets her own show, regardless of time of day, that’s fine, but I miss Busy’s show. Busy’s and Desus & Mero have been the only talk shows I’ve consistently watched at all in the past few years.
I feel like as soon as you spoke the possibility of Baron Corbin winning this thing into existence made it predestined to happen. I’m already frustrated that Joe or Ali will eat a loss to him because Vince keeps thinking he can make Corbin a thing.
Alexei Lalas is one of many talking heads I keep hoping to wake up one day and learn that he was fired over something stupid he did that came to light.
That Bron could be the GOAT now over MJ, and he did it while never hurting you in the way MJ did the Knicks all those years ago?
Do you have a St. Vincent model yet? I want one of hers, though I can only afford one of her lower-priced models right now.
I get that this movie could end up legit charming, but this still feels tailor-made for 50-60-year old white sportswriters who hate Barry Bonds and complain about players pimping home runs but will tell you how much they love Hank Aaron.
While I’m glad the NCAA backed down, albeit in their own ridiculous way, I was admittedly curious to see what would happen if Rich Paul (and his clients) went to war with the NCAA. I don’t think Rich Paul would’ve been the one to bring that sham organization down, but the idea of LeBron’s agent putting the screws to…
I started paying attention to football in ‘95, when this godforsaken bunch arrived, and hitched my wagon to these idiots because they had Sam Mills and I found it charming that someone so old and small was so good. The ‘03 Super Bowl run was absolutely a “happy to be there/glad it wasn’t a blowout” scenario; I didn’t…
Something I’ve noticed on Twitter, especially post-sequels, is some fans who grew up on the prequels trying to justify that the prequels were actually decent and deflecting criticisms of PM and AotC by saying ANH was also poorly acted and just not that good either. It’s, maybe not surprising, but still really weird…
I don’t know if this is a mix of superstition, OCD, or frustrations over double standards left over from his time in Pittsburgh (I think Tom Brady’s also complained about the helmet rule, but I don’t know if he’s gone to the lengths Antonio has here to skirt it), or all of the above, but this is all very odd. I hope…
