Someone has to spend this delay writing up FF10 as the Fast & Furious/Transformers crossover no one’s asking for.

Thor 4: Groot Scoot to Boot Thor Corps for War Thor

Okay if the show really went with “Izzy killed Alex and faked the letters,” that would be a bonkers way to redeem a weird exit, and I would totally watch a Trial of the Century episode where they bring Katherine Heigl back. Fuck it, lean into it, go for broke.

If they want to postpone it into summer and severely discount passes, maybe I could actually go and see Annie Clark’s film that’s screening there.

Say what you will about what SDCC’s become, but I went for several years in a row and, though I still need to start watching the show, I’d regularly enjoy catching the Steven Universe panel at SDCC at the Hilton. It was consistently the most charming, kind panel experience each year thanks to its cast, fans, and

Us Nipplians link arms in with our Buttonian brothers and sisters.

I’ve been excited for Promising Young Woman since I first heard about it. Still waiting for some kind of distribution news on Nowhere Inn.

While I’m still not big on more alternate history “what if the bad people won” takes, this is certainly in more capable hands than that Confederate crap D&D were hoping to pull off.

I admittedly haven’t seen the original, but eh, the trailer I saw looked fine, so I’m still curious about this remake. As for Sundance premieres, I’m still waiting to see what’s going on with Nowhere Inn and when that’ll get a distribution deal.

I remember hearing the initial news that was being removed and figured there’d be another shoe to drop but didn’t expect this. Yikes.

Fuck it, go full sci-fi and have him go work for the Avengers, where he then has to go into space. Bring Grey’s into the MCU.

Ghost Whisperer reboot?

Something-something-this-is-just-on-paper, but it’s so frustrating that Colin Fucking Trevorrow put together a much more interesting concept for Ep9 than what we got. I can’t believe I want to watch a Trevorrow version, but here we are. This is so weird.

Rey & Poe was one of the (few) things I actually really liked about TROS, so yeah I would’ve been down for more. Finn helplessly watching as his boyfriend and girlfriend argue in front of him was amusing for me.

I’m pleasantly surprised that Just Mercy clocked in with a tie for 4th. I’ve been waiting for it and really dug it. It’s yet another “film with something to say where most of the people that actually need to listen probably won’t see it,” but I’m glad it still experienced some success upon its nationwide debut.

As mentioned by someone else, Annie Clark is the obvious candidate here. She’s a phenomenal guitar player.

Not sure why a West Coast show was announced in the middle of the night, local time. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up right after 6 to see Annie Clark’s tweet about this, followed the link...and most of the upfront seats in the “Diamond” section were already gone, at $300 a pop (before fees) no less. Interesting

This is cool and all, and the proceeds to get in are supposed to go to a charity that helps artists...but holy shit did the cost of getting in raise my eyebrows quite a bit. This was technically a “black tie event” before the Globes, so yeah the audience was basically intended for rich people, but those rich people

What would be better, a belated sequel with Incest Baby, or a reboot starring Lena Headey and Nikolaj Costar-Waldau?
