They’ve never detailed the specific event which triggered the fighting, but I thought the explanation given in the opening narration(s) of the series as aired on Fox was pretty straightforward: The Alliance formed in the Core unilaterally decided that the previously-independent worlds further out in “the system”

And it didn’t even last a season.

That’s out there.

How can anybody see things like that and still question that they’re basically us?

Yes yes, you’re very cool and we all aspire to be you.

Yes, please be clear about the additional “convenience” fees. This, combined with a truly AWFUL interface and worthless, rude customer service has me deeply regretting having signed up for a year. They’re misleading about the fees and the cardlessness - I paid an extra ten bucks to process my card more quickly, only

Ew gross on the additional fees. My local theater charges $7.50 for matinee tickets. I can see this working for people who go all the time, but I see about 4-6 movies in theaters max per year. And when I go I bring my 32oz Harkins loyalty cup for a $1.50 refill and sneak in a Chipotle burrito or some dollar candy from

The only drawback to Sinemia is that they are now charging a $1.80 transaction fee when you reserve your ticket. It is still probably cheaper, but the more you use it, it gets more expensive.

They are showing these during AHS tonight.

Y’all are a mess. No wonder the site is dying.

She also eventually died.

Personally, I’ve been avoiding Deadpool for a while because of the R. I became invested in Deadpool with the Cable and Deadpool series, where nothing really escalates pass PG-13. Violence aside, even the Deadpool series following it wasn’t a jumbled mass of slurs, only specific DP series really went there.

Did you also read the network pitch? It outlined the entire story arc for the first season, including the introduction of Callisto. It also addressed the approach to the fantasy elements.

To answer your question, I think it’s a pretty solid script that captures the essence of the characters and the setting fairly well. It compresses a lot, like having Gabrielle get fight training and tattoos right in the first episode, while still having her basically true to her character as a pacifist wannabe bard.

It does look like a twist on The Quiet Place—though it’s worth nothing that Heisserer’s script is adapted from Josh Malerman’s novel, which came out in 2014

Thats ALL i need to tune in.  Im in luff.

Cancelled is still acceptable in American English.

Canceled and cancelled are both correct. Same for loads of other double-l words like traveled/travelled.  The differences are geographic and cultural, like which ocean you live on.

Man, I loved Simone. Hopefully she sticks around (it seems likely, given the premise of the Earthly experiment, but this IS The Good Place, so you never know). She and Chidi were perfect together.
