And what is the DEAL with airline peanuts?

YOU MONSTER!

That'll do it!

Say what you will about the climax of the third, but the ending was emotionally devastating.

That was pretty much the only worthwhile thing about that abomination of a movie.

Was going to say the same thing! I just finished the series last night and came away very impressed. I'm pretty excited at the prospect of BBC One not fucking this up.

FUCK YES

Don't leave us hanging. How was the popcorn? Too much butter?

Ah yes! I know what you're talking about. That gas station one really sticks out. I was totally thinking of the Jeff Fahey movie Body Parts though.

No, The Net is the one where she couldn't let her download speed drop below 50kbps.

Shit. 12 year old me loved Body Bags. I forgot that was Carpenter.

I just watched Pontypool last night. Really enjoyed the first half and thought it turned pretty awful at about the midpoint. I had the exact same experience reading Snow Crash.

I just watched Pontypool last night. That movie was building great tension for the first half. As soon as the doctor crawled through the window about halfway through, it turned into a big sack of shit.

The first book in the Kingkiller Chronicle is superb. For the most part, it's incredible small scale and large chunks of it deal with the main character earning and losing small amounts of money. I know that sounds boring, but it's weirdly hypnotic and captivating.

OH SHIT! And I'm going to be out of town that day. Goddamnit.

god why do i laugh at this every fucking time?

I thought Waterworld was Fishtar and Ishtar was Dryworld.
