My husband works up on those oil fields. He's an electrician. My son in law works up there too, he monitors the drills and pump at the site we works at. It's not that there is "no risk" but that there are very, very tight restrictions and drilling is done in a completely different way then everyone thinks of when they

exactly was I was coming in to post.. this happened during a test while the line was shut down. they were replacing valves and other bits that they knew were getting old and could be faulty. They were then doing a pressure test to clear the line. Yes there was an unexpected blow out, but most of it stayed in the

I've been streaming off and on all evening, and am watching stuff now.. no problems..so not sure what this is all about..

ooh cool! I so hope that works.. we don't have cable and i was trying to figure out how I was going to be watching this. I didn't know that was an option. so going to try that tonight

where are you from? I grew up in Blair, dad worked at the Ft Calhoun plant for years. Live in Alaska now. so many people keep posting alarmist clips about this and have to keep setting them straight about the condition of the plant. Sad to see all the flooding though.

yup, we don't want her, either... and she would get dismissed from jury duty asap as she would disrupt the court by being there any whatever case she was on would turn into a 3 ring circus

you all are lucky.. my cap is 25 gb/month. so this will help me. (we're in Alaska, there really aren't that many options and comcast doesn't exist up here...)

my biggest concern has been having to go through with my cpap machine. I would want/need to bring distilled water with me, but they only sell that in gallon jugs (that I've been able to find anyway..) I don't necessarily want to lug a gallon jug around with me on top of everything else, esp if they are going to decide

my little brother's favorite for ages was peanut butter, mayo, fried egg and apricot jelly.. i could never wrap my mind around how he came up with that combo..

as much as I love Torchwood, personally, I don't think I'd be comfortable letting my 12 year old step daughter watch it. Mostly because of the language, really. the 17 year old, yes, but the 12 year old, no, not yet. she needs to wait a few more years. Mostly because I don't think she's ready for it yet, and it's

Alton, if I recall, only does that when he's freezing them so they freeze faster, then once frozen they go into standard baggie storage

there are a bunch they haven't found. there is nearly an entire month's worth (at least, that they know of) that are still missing and unaccounted for. there are literally NO emails from her first month in office. The local papers ran a bit about it earlier in the week.

just as an FYI. It has come out (at least up here in Alaska..) that about 3 full weeks of emails are missing from the start of her early administration. She had a habit of using personal accounts to do her public business. No one is sure how much this continued as she moved up the political chain, but it is something

hubby and i both seriously squealed in excitement at the prospect of that. and I'm just a wee bit bouncy about the idea... definitely good news happy making idea

In that case... SPOILERS AND THEORIES

question is, does this mean all of us who have seen it can now freely discuss it?? cuz i have a theory about something that i can't discuss untill i can reference that episode..

wonder if we have the same person in mind :)

in their case, I think minor spoilers would be ok, it's not like they are that major in regards to the big main points of the story.. and i've seen their relationship mentioned already in other threads

Man, my keyboard hates me...
