Agreed. Granted, that's also part of the reason I choose to not work in the walled garden.

The projected price is absurd, and I don't understand why they put buttons on a honeycomb tablet. That said, would I be interested in a 2 pound nearly indestructible tablet? Hell ya. And as for the looks, I think the industrial commercial look it's got looks great.

I've been in many a "Art vs. Utility" debates, so I find it interesting that he felt his art only had value if it was used.

I'd say a combination of both, but more towards understanding the intent than the words.

Yet further evidence that maybe modern art isn't.

While I've noticed the stands and been mildly curious I've never actually had DippinDots. Guess I'm not shocked to here there going under.

I'm not an expert, but from what I've heard from my beekeeping buddies is that the "dwindling" bee population may be limited to commercially kept bee's, as there's little to no evidence that wild be hives have been suffering from the same condition.

Me too! Guess that makes the three of us like 8th cousins, along with about 15% of the rest of the population ;)

The fact that TSA is reasonably good at catching the dude who forgot to remove his piece before running to the airport really doesn't impress me. He's not the guy I'm worried about.

Ya, my thinking exactly. Just because another company can tap into Airplay doesn't mean Apple is going to be happy about it.

I had a feeling I messed that joke up. Geography Fail.

Your kidding right? Sure, Nasa tech see's it's way to commercial applications a little faster, but half of the modern world can be traced back to military development.

Your kidding me. They went through all the trouble of building up this evil independent organization quantom (similar to specter from the original films) and they're just going to drop it?

Looks good, I'll have to give it a try when I have time to do some real cooking again. Lately I've been to busy so it's been random meat/vegges from the store into the pot with some spices and hit start.

I picked up a cuisinart pressure cooker about a month ago and have been making stews with it. Yummy and quick.

Granted, I suspect the amount of effort put into iOS app development is a fraction of what goes into Android app dev work. But at least they try (and in this case, fail miserably).

Just one more reason to keep seniors off the roads.

While I agree with you completely, I would also point at that using labels to propagate an extreme/stupid idea while avoiding intellectual and critical discussion is a tactic used by extremists/simpletons on both sides of the political spectrum.

Except for the pan handle, I mean, southern Georgia.

Not saying this in necessarily the case, but Google has had trouble getting thru Apple's app store gates before. It's possible that Google had to rethink it's approach and drop a lot of features from the android version to avoid Apple hang ups.
