Friends is available on Netflix for me, but not The Office.

If I were Kevin Feige, I’d want the first MCU movie after Endgame to tease the next big franchise-spanning story arc-slash-Thanos-succeeding villain. Even more so if it’s Spider-Man, a proven fan and box-office draw perfectly suited to lead the MCU the same way Iron Man did. After the high of Endgame has come down,

The story of Prometheus is already a myth, so I don’t know why he thinks it’s clever to portmanteau the two words.

The system that allows white men to achieve rewards beyond any measure of common decency also ensures that there is enough public interest in the stories of such white men to ensure that they will continue to be rewarded long after the punishment (if any) for their crimes.

He did indeed make capoeira look pretty cool in that.

I totally did not realize I’d be spoiling the movie. I flagged my own post, if it helps the mods to delete it.

If that “wedding” he talked about was the Tony Stark funeral scene (which was really more of a shot), that looked like it would’ve been much easier to composite a bunch of green-screened shots together rather than wrangle so many stars onto the same set for the same day. The way it was blocked even looked like

Someone must’ve been very proud of their choice to use that scaaaary font.

That’s a good point, but I don’t think it’s the one Dan made.

I think Dan was spot on in reading the way he phrased it. Because again, if the issue is that she doesn’t respect him enough to take an interest in his interests, that’s how he would have phrased it. Instead, he says “I think she’s a little dumb.”

Wow, you seem really salty about not getting validation for your decision to dump her. You might want to examine those feelings and see if they come from a deeper place than the usual post-breakup blue balls.

You seemed to have missed the point of Dan’s advice, which is that couples should share their interests with each other. A partner who refuses to engage with your interests indicates a lack of respect for you, which is certainly a serious issue. A partner who behaves arrogantly and condescendingly toward you because

I see it as a balance thing. The 6 stones need to exist concurrently with each other in the universe in order to balance each other out. What the Avengers want to do is to take 3 out of 2012, 1 out of 2013 and 2 out of 2014. This is what will doom each of these timelines, unless the stones are returned.

Teaching men that when a woman is telling you why she’s not gonna date you, just kissing her will silence all her objections is a crime against humanity.

This doesn’t gel with Benedict Cumberbatch’s statement right after IW, in which he says he was the only member of the cast who read the complete scripts for both IW and Endgame, just so he could portray Strange’s motivation during those 2 scenes of giving Thanos the Mind Stone and saying “It was the only way” right

I’m really hoping the word “tranquil” is highly misleading and Bond is in fact drowning in drink and depression after driving Seydoux’s character away, because c’mon, Bond, a one-woman guy?

My theory is that her big doe eyes makes her very effective at portraying weakness and vulnerability, and that biased a lot of people against her long after her character stopped being weak and vulnerable.

And of course, some idiot in the greys thinks the only reason I’d want to defend a woman is because I want to sleep with her :|

I think it could still go either way; what’s good about this scene is that it sets up both ways.

Apropos of nothing in particular, I think Emilia Clarke is a fine actor and anyone who’s trashed her acting has been terribly unfair.
