Quite frankly, I simply can't friggin believe that, as a country, we are SO arrogant and stupid to be questioning this. Does ANYONE remember 9/11 anymore? I'm not saying there is no room for improvement with the TSA... everyone, including them, knows there is.

@MYMHM: to subject every passenger to every manual test that these scanners cover is not cost effective or efficient enough. You experience in Mexico can hardly be compared, as you have NO idea how inadequate their testing methods are.

@KamWrex: First off... the average price of a track on a CD that is bought at a store is greater than $1. Most $15 CDs have far fewer than 15 tracks on them. Secondly, you are forced in the CD purchasing model to buy ALL the songs, even if 2/3 of them are filler.
