Keeping in mind that, unless it's a drum solo, it's actually not a "solo" at all, but a…highlight is the best word I can think of, though I'm sure there must be a better one, but, in any case—

"Night Court" was the ONLY sitcom that lived up to the "Must-See" Thursday night label. I NEVER liked "The Cosby Show" (neither did the creators of "Married…With Children", by the way). "Family was interesting, O.K. & somewhat funny (thanks mainly to Michael J. Fox & Marc "Skippy" Price. "Cheers" was great until

I've always felt that "We Didn't Start The Fire" didn't cover enough of the tumultuous events of the '70s (Patty Hearst, Vietnam troops coming home, Son Of Sam/NYC blackout, etc.). As for my choice of a farewell song, I'm really not interested in a career in politics…like, at all.

EXCUSE ME????!!!!!! UNDERRATED????!!!!!!!!
This is the second most OVERRATED franchise ever, next to STAR WARS!!!!!
I might add that the combination of the name & the subject matter
pre-dates anything by J.K. Rowling by over a decade (at least)—

I figured this was going to be about "The Human Centipede".

"The Laughing Gnome"
"Please, Mr. GraveDigger"
"There Is A Happy Land"
"After All"
"The Wild-Eyed Boy From Freecloud"
"Time"
"I'm Not Losing Sleep"

Mostly, a superb list, but I would've included
"Anatome" & "Orphan" (not to be confused with "The Orphanage") as well.

I think "Smallville" was absolutely wonderful…until the last 3 seasons. Various plot points were treated very dismissively or clumsily & the show ultimately became more a conformist to the other shows WB was running. Translation: less action/less Superman-type material & more gooey-gooey romance.

Funny, yes, &, at the same time, a little disturbing & provocative & a high point for all involved.

Any specific reason? Just wondering. I admit that the main reason I'm so impressed is that the real Hawking felt Redmayne's performance was so realistic (& I rarely agree with the choices of the Oscar winners). Any films you think should've been included that weren't?

Wondering if you've even seen it…

Interesting list, with a lot of good choices (particularly "Upstream Color" by the underrated Carruth). "Carnage" & "The Theory Of Everything" should've been included, though.

It would've been great to see even brief appearances from Denny Dillon
& Gilbert Gottfried, who never should've been dropped from the show.

No "Married…With Children", no "South Park", no "Grounded For Life", no "The Job", no "Absolutely Fabulous", no "The Adventures Of Pete & Pete", no "That '70s Show", no "King Of The Hill", no "Night Court", no "Big Bang Theory", no "Two & A Half Men"…did I already say "pathetic"??

The truth is, there are so many unforgettable & iconic episodes of "South Park", it's tough to narrow it down to one. "Awesome-O" certainly is a classic, as is "Make Love, Not Warcraft", the first 2 "Professor Chaos" adventures & so many others.

It's taken a while for me to getting around to commenting here, but, for those of you still reading & paying attention, much of this list is pretty pathetic. Garry Shandling & Larry David are talentless hacks & Chris Rock is a racist. In spite of a cursory mention of "Married…With Children" in the intro, not a single

I usually have a pretty good idea of what to expect from a show just from reading a preview—what the general idea is, who's in it, in some cases who the creator(s), writer(s), director(s) are, etc.. If I'm not sure what to expect, I usually give it a look.

Well.EXCUSE ME for trying to take the conversation to another level. It certainly was not "off-topic", nor was it any sort of "hi-jacking", it was just more extreme; & there was nothing RANDOM about it. That would've involved me interjecting something about, say, the hazards of coal-mining into a discussion about,
