Jamie saying goodbye to his son as A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall plays, while Claire thinks she’s saying goodbye to Jamie, broke my heart more than anything in the show or books ever has. What a choice.

I also was thinking that John could have misread the situation after he told Jamie about his “friend” that died at Culloden, in a way that made clear he was speaking of a lover, and Jamie didn’t recoil or respond with judgment. Jamie’s reaction to learning that John had a male partner, I imagine, was pretty rare in…
And maybe don’t have a seat pitch that’s shorter than my femur.
Yeah, that one was really disappointing. The nominations in that category were stacked (Phil Dunphy aside)...I personally was pulling for Tituss Burgess or Tony Hale, but either way, totally robbed.
Although Frank was in an awkward position (I *guess*...), it also served as a juxtaposition between how he handled Claire being disrespected, and how Jamie would have handled it. Further, Claire had no problem sticking up for herself in the 18th century - whether against Dougal, Colum, the Scots, or the Brits - when…
I’m not in any hurry to return to Brianna’s “American” accent any time soon...hell, Frank’s cowboy impression was better than that.
I just started to rewatch from the beginning over the weekend (stupid paid subscription...) and I loved seeing the character development Rupert underwent. He and Angus have always been a delight, though. Glad they’re reunited in the great beyond.

First of their names.
Totally kidding - it's an Office reference. You were clear :)
Hedded? Take headed of?
I also appreciate that the new actor looks like a plausibly hot relative of the actor who plays Sam. Even if it was fun having Cormac MacLaggen around for a minute.
Would be hilarious if Jon hastily drew those cave paintings… "SEE?!"
Well that escalated f***ing quickly.
Yeah, I was responding to a speculation that they would be used as hostages, which doesn't make sense. The person to whom I responded later corrected themselves and said they meant captives, not hostages.
The writers ARE in too much of a rush, because they decided to cram 2+ huge books' worth of plot into 13 episodes stretched over two years - totally worth it to free up D&D's time to make a white boy confederacy fan fic series ASAP.
