Nah. Marvel never actually gave a reason to care for the character. She has the least amount of characterization because they always seem to forget about her until they want a solo film. Even her current post-credit appearances are nothing but her just appearing and saying a few lines.

Gen X is giving me Boomer vibes, dude.  Hope they don’t do a “Reality Bites” sequel set in a nursing home.

Yes... but not where you thiiiiiink!

Hey, his flight issues are part of his method acting as Indy, whom as we know can “fly yes, land no”.

Obviously a Skrull.

Ke Huy Quan was also at D23 to talk about his role in season 2 of Loki, which led to this lovely picture:

John Hodgman’s facial hair was finally accepted by the public after many trying years. Jury is still out here.

It’s actually one of the things I love about British actors: they take the job seriously, but they’re also serious about the fact that it’s a job first and foremost. Want Olivia Colman or Ian McKellan or (notoriously) Michael Caine to show up and lend your bullshit production a completely unearned air of gravitas?

She shouldn’t have blown all her Numberwang winnings.

I hope it’s a fitting send-off for the character, I really do. Maybe they should have ended it with Last Crusade, but they didn’t; so give Ford and Indy a better goodbye than poor Han got. I’m rooting for this movie to be good, damn it.

Patty Guggenheim definitely stole the show, even over Benedict Wong.

Weird take IMO. I don’t think they were playing at any romantic or sexy angle. I DO think they very quickly became awesome friends and would love for them to team up or solve mysteries together.

Finally, a “lighthearted” one! It’s been such a grim slog up until now, what with all the jokes and twerking and everything.

I really liked this episode. Maybe it was embracing the silliness more or I’ve grown used to it, know a bit more about the comics and their tone, but I thought was a fun romp.

Yeah, I only watched the pilot, and honestly between that and the advertising, it seemed like "a show about indigenous issues... from the perspective of a legacy white guy!" I found myself wishing the whole show was about Michael Greyeyes' character.

Someday, there will be a day without a story on this movie.

Today is not that day.

Sadly you can clearly tell in season 3 that their budget was cut to shit. Midway though the season, the animation suddenly looks a lot choppier and stuttering. It’s like a slideshow almost at times.

The general rule of thumb is that SNL has been “going downhill” since whenever the speaker was in high school. Fortunately, my high school years corresponded with Tina Fey’s tenure as head writer, so I think my case is stronger than most, but there are inevitably defenders (and detractors) of any era.

Jim Jarmusch made Only Lovers Left Alive, starring Tilda Swinton as a vampire. And Tilda is a vampire in the show. Does that mean it was a biographical film and Tilda just hypnotized Jim Jarmusch into forgetting about the existence of vampires?

He had his slimy octopus testicles all over everyone, didn’t he?
