I literally didn’t know that until you told me, as I can’t remember the last time I saw a D’works label on a movie. But, I guess it’s basically just another Amblin label at this point.
That’s really the crux of it. The scene is just mean-spirited. It’s meant to be Harry giving Helen some excitement, but it comes across as deeply cruel and manipulative.
But, according to the author of this piece, if you’re man, it’s not your place to find it misogynistic, since a handful of women didn’t.

Are little people considered “disabled??” That seems very strange to me, patronizing and potentially offensive. Not that anyone should be offended by the term, but it’s just.....weird.
