Mark Hamill made a lot of comments about “The Last Jedi.” The one I like best is when he said it was his “favorite Star Wars movie since The Empire Strikes back.”

Did you not watch the rest of the movie?

Yes.  Literally the only flaw in the masterful season was ending episode 1 where they did.

I only hate certain planets.  Like don’t get me started on Neptune.

Good analysis!

Wood is not a fossil fuel.

Glad it worked for you, but to me, it feels like they DID paint themselves into a corner and then just took a very sloppy way out. It also felt SUPER abrupt to me.

Sadly, Ray Fisher paid the price for being outspoken.

Could be! But, again, it didn’t sound like a particularly Jedi notion to my ears.

You most assuredly can kill a lot of people with it, but I’d imagine in times of peace, the Jedi scarcely actually use them except, perhaps, to deflect blasters from the local drunk hillbillies.

I enjoyed this movie for about 2/3rds of its length, even though most of the middle is devoted to just the romance between the two (very sexy leads) and the story (what little there was) dragged a bit.

I’m sure that there isn’t.

Man, I’m glad I bailed on the MCU.

Yeah, that was the one bit of dialogue that didn’t ring true for me and she says it with authority, like we’re supposed to take it at face value.

Sadly, that’s nothing remotely new, they just have a new (ish) word for it.

I really like Alan Sepinwall as a critic, but he also didn’t like Andor, so I’m just going to ignore his opinions about Star Wars going forward (easy to do, given that Rolling Stone’s paywall doesn’t let you see ANYTHING for free anymore!)

Night Shift 2:  The Early Shift

It’s better than everything you listed!

The guy making Andor isn’t an idiot slavishly devoted to fan service, like the other creators.

And did you come up with an actual example to refute my argument.  You did not.  I mean, honestly.
