I’m honestly trying to think of a piece of Disney SW content that tarnishes the Jedi. The prequels do, but they were made by Lucas.

I thought he was really good and I’m generally unfamiliar with his work. He just seemed like a guy with an accent to me.
The whole “training Jedi from birth” is seriously one of Lucas’ single worst ideas.
They used to drop stuff at midnight, Pacific time. I know this because I’d stay up to watch the stuff.
The Jedi have proven better in small doses.
Watched the first two episodes and I thought they were great. The one leg up they have on Andor is that Andor devoted too much of its runtime in its early episodes to the ponderously placed (and largely irrelevant) flashback scenes to Cassian’s childhood. Frustratingly, the second episode ended on a downbeat flashback…
Wow, he’s neither boring nor emotionless, but he is subtle. And if you haven’t watched every one of his other videos, you’re really missing out.
Hmm. I was going to watch it, but I heard mixed reviews. Maybe I’ll give it a shot.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Henson documentary, but for Henson fans, the multi-part deep dive into Henson’s entire career that Defunctland did a few years ago is absolutely extraordinary and a must-watch.
Thanks for doing the research! The “highest satisfaction” claim has definitely become a bit of a rallying cry in the starcruiser fandom community and, as you say, it could entirely be something someone just made up, as “sources close to Disney”, etc. is obviously very dubious. And Disney obviously wouldn’t release…
You won’t find it in an official press release, because Disney obviously doesn’t officially release the results of their internal marketing.
Well, then I never would have gone, since it would have been sold out for the next ten years!
Uh, why are you convinced that my experience was the exception and not Jenny’s? How many former guests have you spoken to, exactly?
That tracks. Ideally, he tells every actor something different.
heh.
You’re right. I shouldn’t feel “entitled” to share my opinion on the topic at hand in a discussion thread on that very topic. What was I thinking??
Is it salt in the wound? I call it extra attention to immersion. You’re “in” the Star Wars universe. No one in the Star Wars universe can watch Star Wars movies, that makes no sense!
These are certainly fair points and I definitely agree that it’s ridiculous that D+ isn’t in ALL hotel rooms.
Which is why Alan Rickman demanded to know from Rowling what the endgame was for his character since he couldn’t realistically be expected to play it if he himself literally didn’t know his own character’s reality.
Possible, but I think it’s unlikely. They really do want you to sit and enjoy the meal and floor show, since both were big part of the draw and a huge part of the marketing. There are tons of missions and meetings for you go to on when you’re not eating and they are careful about scheduling “story moments” around…
